Hi, I am building a guitar pedal for the first time so I am planning on doing it using a breadboard first. I built it in tinker CAD and was wondering if someone could compare the schematic and the breadboard I built thanks in advance!

Welcome to AAC!
It would make it easier to discuss the circuit if you add designators (e.g. R1, Tra, C2) to each component.

compare the schematic and the breadboard
For starters, the pinout for the 2N3904 isn't correct. It's for BC style transistors that have the collector and emitter swapped.

It would be helpful if you included component designators (e.g. R1, R2, ...)

Thanks for the help I am still a little confused as to why the pinout is wrong for example T2 on the far left has its emiter connected to the ground which I did in the breadboard

The actual pinout for 2N3904 is reversed from what is labeled on the breadboard. The terminal identified as E would actually be C.

If you're going to wire the circuit on perf board, area can be reduced by about 50%.

Thanks I understand now I fixed the circuit on the breadboard does this now match the schematic above thanks for all the help!Screenshot 2025-02-28 084551.png

No. Turning the transistor around is going to be confusing.
Get the proper transistor model that matches the real device.

I guess my question is can I just build this just placing the transistors backwards so i don't have to change the wiring
