Looking at the data sheet, the voltage output requires a load resistor of 1k ohms. Does this correspond to your set up?
I believe what the data sheet is getting at is:
4..20 mA / Load 500 Ohm max. or 0..10 V / Load min. 1 kOhm
When using a Current output option of 4 - 20 mA the maximum load resistance is 500 Ohms resulting in a 2 to 10 volt drop across the load resistor or for example a 250 Ohm load would result in a 1 to 5 volt drop. The load resistance for a current mode output can not exceed 500 Ohms. When choosing a Voltage output option the load resistance needs to be a minimum of 1 K Ohm to obtain the 0 to 10 volt output, anything less than a 1 K Ohm load will cause excessive loading of the output preventing the analog out voltage from reaching 10 volts. The load resistance for a voltage mode analog output can not be less than 1 K Ohm. That is what I believe they are getting at with the 1 K Ohm.
