hi..can anyone help me in building a flip flop circuit using a c828 transistor? Ive been searching diagrams in the internet but found nothing..any help would be appreciated..

Define the C828, a datasheet would be a good start, that or a general description, such as an NPN silicon transistor. Generally you only need the basics, such as the NPN silicon BJT, to define a circuit, unless there is something really special about this part.

the c828 is a transistor, our instructor had given us a diagram but I think the diagram was wrong,.we had tried it in our breadboard but it doesnt work, some of our materials were 12 leds, 16v/100uf capacitor, 100ohm resistor, etc..

A 2SC828 is an NPN transistor in a TO-92 case, vaguely similar to a 2N3904.

Note the different arrangement of the leads. With the flat side of the TO-92 case facing you and the leads down, the emitter is on the left, collector is center, base on the right. The collector and base are swapped as compared to a standard 2N3904.

Are you sure it is a transistor? Because i found a book that it has equivalent to equivalent to BTA41-40 and that is a triac.

As you can see, we still need more information, such as the complete transistor part number (I'm inclined to go with Wookie's assessment), and what kind of flip flop, Set Reset, Monostable, or Astable. We also need the schematic to be of much help.
