Firstly, TS does not understand 'anything' about the circuit..It's chapter 1 and just to do right away for someone that hasn't made a transmitter before

T1 is 12 turns and 3 turns..the 12 turns is about 50UH...Got 50UH but with more turns (guess because different core), is this okay?
Also, the amount of turns has almost occupied the core, can I wrap the other "3" turns on the 12 turns?

unfortunately, don't have Q5 or heat sink... what to do about this??
Really want to make a working transmitter :( ...That will start up the study dynamo in TS (not sure will sleep for 3 days)

Please assist

2n5321 ~9.51 at Digikey, but do you have a license to transmit on 40M? Those are old can type TO-18 case xstrs so you might try for a modern replacement. Haven't seen a "hat" heatsink in ages for one.

Are you speaking in third person or are you referring to a different TS? Are you licensed to transmit in the 40M band?

God has given me license : just within home

Can wrap the 3 turns on the 12 turns on the same core? there's no space

And book is challenging :( (slowly but surely anyway)...picked an easier book

Btw, how you know it's 40M? what are you seeing??

Unless your house is wrapped in copper screening, you will not be able to keep the radiated RF inside your house.

wavelength = propagation speed/frequency.
wavelength = 300,000,000/7,000,000 = 42.86 M

This is part of the '40 M' ham band.

The CW ops on 40M are a talented crew. They will recognize him and send faster than he can copy laughing all the while. They'll report him and after the letter of asset forfeiture arrives maybe he will get religion. He won't have a callsign and QRZ will expose him in an instant.

Further posts regarding the 40 meter band transmitter will be deleted.

What country are you in? Most countries have provisions for legally unlicensed transmitters of one kind or another.

A couple of points:
* Licensed amateur radio operators will rarely reply to an unlicensed station.

* Interfering with licensed radio services is not treated lightly in most countries.

* There are transmitter designs that are far simpler than this one and easier to build at that. Many of these are for legally unlicensed operation.

1. It's a transmitter
2. It has a key jack ie for CW code transmission
3. It has a 7MHz crystal which is 40M band
4. It is a license required transmit freq.
5. I am a licensed Ham
6. Here is a homemade 40M xmtr and if you can read it, it has a 7.023MHz crystal
