I think good doc but But I wish maybe a power supply with circuit calculations why and how values are obtained

 

If you only know about DC, you cannot make a DC power supply, assuming you mean an AC to DC supply.

One of the first I was taught was a series regulator (after looking at voltage dividers and zeners).

These excerpts from Malvino seem decent.

The first gives a circuit description in terms of amplifier type. The second gives more details.
