That's right , but you have to find the current in the 12 ohm resister ...( it's not 20A)

the power absorbed you must calculate it only on the resistance of 12 ohms.
so you have to calculate the current that circulates only on the resistance of 12 ohms and then apply the formula of the active power absorbed.
