I wouldn't. It was a hypothetical scenario to support my point; that Canada and britain were almost the same thing back then and still are loosely affilliated (outside of UN, NATO, etc) today. I was trying to say that the people who burnt the whitehouse were the people who are presently Canadian (their ancestors anyways).You would face all United Nations countries, but why would you go to war with Canada![]()
It's also noteworthy that the burning occurred in 1814, 2 years after Canada became an entity.
