I am a year 11 student currently studying electronically generated sound. I have an RC circuit with a 555 timer. My project is to reach a desired freq. of 440Hz with R1=33kOhm R2= 330kOhm and C=0.0047mF. When i connect my circuit to a oscilloscope i get a square wave. How do i make it a sine wave with the insertion of a low pass filter? Also, what even is a low pass filter!?
