Filter for a 200v DC

Guys im doin my final year project.Im not hat good in electrical do help.. We need a supply of about 200v DC so we are gonna get it by rectifying 220v AC now wat shud i do to filter the o/p?

For low current needs (half the rating of the transformer or less)

1. Use a full wave rectifier circuit with a 1:1 isolation transformer.

2. Use a voltage doubler rectifier circuit with a 220 to 110 step down transformer.

For high current needs the transformers become insanely large and expensive. Best cost choice for intermittent, high current DC needs is battery
