Looks like the capacitor is 0.001uF or 1nF.
Frequency 200khz.
The inductor should be 600uH.
While researching this I see that you can adjust the capacitor value. The point is to have the LC to resonate at 200khz. Some people were using " CAN-1A901HM " which has a different value, then changing the C to compensate.

Can you get the IC now days? I don't think so.

I think for L1 650μH is good. A similar Elektor circuit uses the same value. What worries me and I do not understand is L2.
Thanks for the replies

hi rx,
L2 is the transducer driver inductor, usually a step-up transformer.
L1 is the base oscillator inductor.

Added: For L2 note the over wound inductor/auto transformer symbol

The circuit of Electronics Australia does not have a power-boosting transistor at the output like the Elektor. Maybe I'll add a transistor. As a converter I will use an old depth sounder that I have.

hi
L2 is a step up auto transformer, 2 turns and 44 turns on a RM10 core.
Enamelled copper wire 0.8mm or 1mm OD diameter.

Read the LM1812 PDF I posted for details.
