"Feels like" temperature

Forehead slap. I recently made some changes to the app that broke it. It was using the indoor temperature in °C and treating it as if it was °F. It was 61°F inside, which converts to 16.1°C, and so it thought the indoor temperature was 16.1°F. D'uh.

The app has been working well for so long that it didn't occur to me that it's fragile.

Mr Fahrenheit must be rolling in his grave... all the while Mr Celsius is laughing uncontrollably...

@wayneh About acclimatization: When the temperatures dropped a week ago, I wanted the inside of the house at 77F with a pot of water simmering all day on the stove (to avoid static electricity and increase enthalpy). After a week of that, I am comfortable at 73F with no water on the stove.

This event is unusual in Florida, so I take this opportunity to document my subjective perceptions.

Edit: This kind of suggests a 5 or 6 day, tapering off, overshoot period when the weather changes drastically...or tape a sensor on your wife.:D
