No ground or power planes ?

Wasn't comfortable enough with these concepts to think I could pull off a correct implementation. Since this was my first attempt at a PCB I was trying to follow my prototype build as closely as possible. Plus a two layer board kept things as simple as possible and the manufacture cost at a minimum.

 

Also, if that was the default track width, usually you can set up optional widths, as needed, at least in Kicad you can.

 

Look into 9mm pots from amplified parts.com. They are about 1/2 as big as those standard pots you used. Saves a lot of space on a board.
