I'm not sure I ever tried it after installing Fedora 20. I connected my computer via cable and didn't try again. And unfortunately, I'm living away from home, so I can't try it now either. But I might try it on my chromebox-fedora rig as soon as I get it set up.

OK, thanks. I asked my question on FedoraForum.org, so hopefully I'll get some helpful answers there.

You don't need to try it out for me. I found out that it won't work:
The wiki page for the non-mini version says: "Probable Linux driver: none, will not be supported by brcmfmac"
...
The answer seems to be that it's not possible (at least not easily). I found this post on the RPi forum:
I think you're out of luck. There's lots of Google hits for that one reporting that it can't be encouraged to work on x86 or x86_64 Linux. There's a firmware driver needed that appears to be for Windows ONLY.

You'll have to get your money back and buy a more standard WiFi dongle for your RPi.

So thanks for offering, but it doesn't sound like it's worth the trouble.

EDIT: I wasn't thinking - it should still work with ndiswrapper, just not otherwise. However, I don't really want to use proprietary drivers.
