We work on repair of UPS machines, different capacities , starting from 1k and up to 160k
And many times we get fake IGBT and mosfet from local market , Chinese parts , sometimes work fine
Is this device in attaching the link for , can really help us identifying the fake parts before we install into machines?

Didn't watch the video... I doubt that the type of tester displayed can do more than DORA (Dead OR Alive) testing.

You could test them like you'd test an N channel MOSFET.

Check gate leakage current and other parameters that are important.
