Hello All,
I've accidentally fried a "probably" diode on my FAAC remote controller. I have real trouble with identifying it because the only marking on it is "6".
The PCB code is XT4868ST-00 but again not helpful a lot unfortunately...

I haven't find any circuit description on internet for these remotes.
Is there any chance to find out what is that part exactly?

Thanks!

Can you test the suspect diodes? Multimeter resistance checks.
A closer clearer picture would help.
Good luck...........

There is really nothing more than the number "6".
Resistance on unsoldered working diode is 0.872 Mohm, the other one - burned - is already gone.

Are you ok to replace the diodes (temporarily ) with wire ended ones like 1N4001, just to prove a point.
The originals may be Schottky types.
In the meantime, one of the many helpful forum people may have tracked down the type of diodes you require.
You have to ask yourself, what caused the damage.
Good luck...........
