from India. He was born and educated in Canada, is brilliant and runs his own eye hospital.

Most taxi and truck drivers in my part of Canada are from India. There are many of them.

Hardly anybody in Canada is from Nigeria. Less than 1% of the population of Canada say they are from Africa. 2.5% of the population of Canada say they are black.

 

thanks guy for all you contributions well now i know where one could really get help it is better to play a game with a blind man than one eye person who could not do better than a blind person. i never get what is expected of this site anyway i did blem any person but myself.

 

That's because what you are expecting is someone to do your work for you and give it to you all tied up in a bow ready to hand in and claim as your own. Had you devoted a fraction of the time you've spent trying to get someone to do it for you into just trying to answer the first simple question about the problem I asked you, you would be well on your way to having, and understanding, the solution.

Perhaps an example of how this can work would be helpful to you.

Note that the poster of this question originally just asked for someone to tell them what to do without offering their own work. But, unlike you, they responded to questions put to them. Notice also that the responses were not always correct, but the incorrect ones were the most valuable ones because they highlighted the points that the OP was tripping up on and, since the question were very simple and very focused, the root cause of the misunderstanding was easily identified and corrected. Finally, note that this poster was, perhaps 14 or 15 years old and in middle school.

years ago I was invovled in Delphi (Pacal) programming. At one stage , near the end, that became dominated by Indian posts.

Now to a large extent that may have reflected to boom in IT growth in India. However, one common theme from the vast majority of those posts was an attitude of "I have not researched this, I have not tried, please post me how to do this as soon as possible: I'm in a hurry."

I have never been to India, so I concluded, in absence of any facts to the contrary, that maybe this just reflected a cultural difference. Maybe over there, if you don't know something you just ask someone who does and don't try to learn. The idea of sharing knowledge and spending your time to do the work of others is perhaps expected. They probably don't have the stressed, pressured way of life common in the West.

However, it's hard to see how such a culture (assuming I'm correct) will deliver anything but a degradation of knowledge and ability. Few ever learn anything , they just copy others.

It's a bit like "give a man a fish..." , if you show someone how to solve a problem it will serve them the rest of their life. Doing their homework will get them past tomorrow morning.

We have Indian Einsteins and we have Indian assholes. No offense. Point is there are good and bad every where.

I believe the OP 's q, was attended but he did not take mush time in learning anything, except he wants to have the whole dinner in a plate. This never happens here.
