I think this may explain why he objects to images of scantly clad women.
His election as Mayor of London made him the city's first ethnic minority mayor, and the first Muslim to become mayor of a major Western capital.

Worrying how many other of his rigid "religious" doctrine he will try to impose on us.

This just in today, our peso has been suffering the last few weeks thanks to events happening at Her Majesty's Kingdom:

Translation:

"Brexit pressures the peso; dollar reaches $19.22. In another day of uncertainty due to Brexit and interest rate increase by the Fed, the dollar reaches its fourth consecutive day of dividends by closing at $19.22"

Last week the peso was $18.20 per dollar, now it's $19.22. That's a 5.6% increment that will eventually be reflected in our inflation rate if things don't go well.

C,
How are you guys tied to the UK?

On the other subject:
How much would a 2000 sq. ft. house go for in Monterrey?

We're not. We're just suffering the financial turmoil that this event is causing.

It all depends, in the middle-class areas you could find a decent house for about $300,000 dlls
In other parts, the price can easily go ten times that. It's true, some areas down here are so luxurious and exclusive that they can compare to the real estate market in Manhattan.

It is hard to pin that on him. He is democratically elected by the voters, fair and square.

The voters are to blame for bringing this onto themselves.
Lol he hasn't been in the job five minutes and already imposing his own narrow perspective on everyone, only someone from his ethnic background would consider images as demeaning, the rest of us take no notice.
When asked why he was imposing a ban, he explained that he was a father of two young daughters and he did not want them to be exposed to that type of image.

Four years is a long time, and time will tell.

I would think plenty of people outside of his background would take the same position on those images

But that's not the fundamental issue here. Don't focus on him or his background but why voters elected him? Why was that position given the authority to control ad images? Why isn't freedom of expression guaraantted?

Why aren't more voters outraged?

Again, his election speaks far more about thee voters than him. The long term issue isn't. About him. London can survive four years or more of him just fine. It is something else that you need to be concerned abbout.

Venezuela could have worked. They were simply lacking "a new instrument with an incalculable potential for a civilizing and liberating influence upon the mind of man" like a Thompson Harmonizer.
Venezuela chose circular logic; they democratically elected a dictator whose primary goal was the revocation of democracy itself to guarantee his own perpetual grasp on power.
