I have modules which have PHY chip on their board and I want to connect 4 modules together. I want to design a board with ethernet switch controller on it. The modules have Tx+, Tx-, Rx+, Rx- signals for RJ45 sockets.
As far as I found, ethernet switch controller chips have RMII interfaces, which I don't need. In my pcb there will be no "host" for such interface. The modules should be connected via ethernet swicth.
Do you know is there any such kind of chips? I mean only switching functionality without needing a "host" for RMII interface.
