hello,

I've got to replace a preset type variable resitor with the normal one (i.e. the big format) on a pcb, without altering any other thing.

Can anyone please tell me which pin on the normal one correspond to which pin on the preset type? Please refer to the diagram

 

Equivalents:
A=Y
B=Z
C=X

It may not matter a hill of beans, but for what it's worth, C=Z and B=X is another solution. Different effect of rotation direction.
