I needed that kick in the butt. Sorry about the delay!

They are now in 'Add Reply' (currently not listed in the Fast Reply)

Please let me know if I am missing any important symbols

Yes, I was going to suggest the inclusion of pi too.

Another two which would be useful are lambda, and both upper case omega (for ohms) and lower case omega (for 2*pi*f).

Ω is created using the alt symbols
hold down alt and on the # pad (make sure num lock is off) press 234 then let go of alt and Ω :)
if this the f your were talking about ƒ? is so its alt 159
look up alt characters for anyones like pi that you might need as well
thx l8er

Make sure numlock is ON, not off.

No, it's a normal f (for frequency.)

Yes, I'm aware of the crafty key combinations but use them so infrequently I can never remember them. It would be much better to have those characters/symbols in the list of those provided.

Hi all,

Pleased to see the symbols have returned! Sometime in the future, i.e. after my summer exams, I will review the symbols with jrap and look at the possibility of adding further symbols that are commonly used (if this is possible). If anyone has any suggestions for common symbols that are ommitted from the lists, PM me and I will look at them.

Thanks, hope to see you all more in the summer!

Dave
