There is no generated energy, but the prevailing kinetic energy and magnetic field energy will be dissipated in some other form. However, I guess you are referring to Back EMF, which is a voltage E given by E=-L*di/dt, where L is the motor coil inductance and di/dt is the rate of change of current in the coil.
