It's an interesting phenomenon in that most EoTW predictions are for the end to come during the lifetime of the prognosticator. Most everyone wants to believe that they live during a unique time in history. As to the Biblical implications, the first book of the Bible that many people try to read is the Revelation, which is completely indecipherable without a good knowledge of the other 65 books.
That is similar to the noobies visiting this site who try to 'read the chapter' about interfacing arduinos to I2C sensors without reading the other 65 chapters of electronics and programming.

I'm headed to the Oregon Solar Fest. See you at the Casino at the end of the world.

Come on, stay on topic. If you are going to mention the 2017 eclipse, may as well mention that it will cause the Apocalypse.

(NOTE: if your video did mention the Apocalypse, then it was too long and boring - I didn't watch the whole thing).

The end of the world is always coming. It comes to many every day.

Some say this knowledge makes us human.

After all, we're the only ones that worry about it.

So how is this year of solar darkness going to affect AGW supporters numbers? o_O

In these times and events a guy has to focus on the relevant stuff you know.

tcmteck.....didn't someone have the idea of shading earth with orbital structures? Then they could adjust the "blinds".
Maybe that would shut them up.

I've noticed that people who find things 'too hot' tend to also find things 'too cold' just as easily.

In fact from one day to the next they can often find the exact same conditions to have been both.

The giant shade would likely lead to their being both 'too cold' and things being 'too dark'.
