Looking for some guidance here, wasn't sure where to post this, so I figured I'd start here.

I'm looking for some enclosure guidance. I don't need the enclosure to be custome, but I would like for the cutouts to be milled or laser cut. Anyone have any suggestions on places they have used that are reasonably priced?

Are your cutouts not circular? A step drill is a lot cheaper than those other choices.

Where I live, the cheapest custom cutting option was a 6 axis water jet cutter.

 

What do you consider "reasonably priced"? Probably a minimum of $100 setup charges.

 

Or a Greenlee punch set, they offer some different shapes other than circular hole.
There is also a local plasma shop that may help.
I also use reverse engraved lamacoid for an enclosure legends etc.

Mostly I'm very particular and I can never do a good enough job on my end given I live in a NYC apartment and don't have a proper workshop. I'm wondering if 3D printing isn't the way to go for now. Just weighing the options and seeking recommendations. Thank you.
