Hello I recently purchased several chains of LED lights that came with the new version of the EK-04 IC controlled timer. Unfortunately I am coming into the same issue that others did in the past. I need the timer to stay set to the 4th selection, as I can not access the switch once the lights are connected. The lights will be turned off and back on daily. I drew the circuit and attached it along with a picture of the circuit. Unfortunately I don't know what the IC ship is, there seems to be NO identification on it, is it possible to jump out the chip? Thanks Ed

Welcome to AAC!

Chances are that the chip is a Microchip PIC MCU. There is no simple way to sequence the controller to the 4th selection after power ON. Your best bet is to replace the chip with your own with your desired function.

I am going to bet that the chip is a Microchip PIC12C508A.
I am sure there are many members here on AAC that can provide you with the code to perform your desired function whatever it may be.
