It's not only dresses.

Here is a business that doesn't want trump voter to work for them or be their customers.

I'd like to see his client list to stop supporting his business.

I'd like more than a boycott. He should be sued out of existence just like the cake baker and pizza maker.

I normally wouldn't give a crap what customers a business chooses to serve or not. I support that right to choose. Popular culture does not. Payback is a bitch and this guy should be shut down ASAP.

[UPDATE] His quote that “The expense financially to me is immaterial" got me wondering. Turns out his business is a little office over a retail shop in Albequerque, next door to a strip club. Business is about a year old and apparently has few clients anyway, consistent with his quote. This may be nothing more than a marketing stunt to grab attention.

The cases you cite were based on illegal discrimination, the definition of which varies by state. In many states, discrimination based on political party or job is not illegal. Richard Nixon was refused an apartment in NYC after leaving office. There was discussion of a lawsuit, but it either didn't go anywhere or was dismissed. The reason: the residents didn't like his politics or the fact he was an ex-president (job).

You're right, New Mexico does not protect you from discrimination based on political views. He's a political science major, so he likely knew that.

Ending this guy's 15 minutes as quickly as possible is all we can or need do.

Just like bakers have to bake cakes.
This is where conservatives and malenia trump are too timid. I would go to every single one of them and ask a dress to be made. If they refuse, I would sue, on the exact same basis that wedding cake baker was sued and fined.

Take the same approach to other issues: if burning the national flag is protrcted speech, so is burning a rainbow flag, a quron, A black panther flag, or a nation of Islam flag.

If it is protected speech to advocating robbing the Chinese, it is the same to advocating robbing the white, the black, or others.

I don't mind laws - I actually agree with ford that he should have the right to make dresses for anyone, or not for someone, as he sees fit. However, to the extent that we want our government to force people to perform, I want the sane standard to apply to everyone.

If a baker is fined for refusing to make a cake, ford should be fined for refusing to make a dress.

As already noted, only certain classes are protected by law from discrimination. If you're not in a protected class (generally some class that is favored by libs), you can be discriminated against at will. Discrimination is not illegal, only discrimination against protected classes. Un-American, when you think about it.
