@fortunare . before you ask, the easiest way to compensate for different reverse leakage currents is to provide a higher then leakage current path in parallel to each diode, i.e. to put a resistor in parallel with each diode , all resistors having the same value.You probably mean - can you connect diodes in series to increase the overall voltage rating. You can do this provided you make additional circuit provisions to compensate for the different reverse leakage properties of individual diodes in the series string.
This looks like a strange to do, sure that's what you want?Can I use them in parallel to reduce 120 volt AC to 12volt DC via a resistor?
