Hello all. I’m new to the forum so sorry if I’m not doing everything correctly, but I’ve got a diode the only one of its kind in a circuit and it’s fried. It gets extremely hot and is allowing current to flow in both directions. Was hoping someone could help me identify it. It comes off a tachometer from a 1984 Nissan 720. It has 2 bands one red and one yellow. I will also add that the vast majority of components on the tach are vishay components. I have look all over the web and have not been able to Id it. Thanks in advance!
