T06 Do you guys night fish on the rivers? I'm from FL and bleed saltwater. So I don't know that much about fresh/river fishing. I'd like to do it but its hard to take seriously with such small fish. I guess if I could get a sturgeon it would be big, but I'm used to Kings, Tarpon, Cobia, etc.... Although your fish is quite large it could almost pass for a saltwater fish. :) I just hate seeing these grown men with 10 inch trout holding it up like its jaws. I would be proud to catch what you got though.

Yep, quite wet here. Thing is we had a damp winter last year. Then a wet spring. Then a wet summer, followed by a very wet autumn. Any rain which falls is fallen onto sodden ground.

We used to have one small pond in our garden - there are two now! :D

St Ives is built right next to a flood plain - by sheer chance the town sits on gravel, as opposed to clay, so we often miss floods. It does get pretty close at times, though.
