For that you may have to set up a small light curtain!I need to check if dog is in between the door including its tail in order to ensure door do not close.
Trying to help you out make a decision which is it RF IR electromechanical or combination of allI am building a smart door based on RF and solenoid for my college project
Provided she is Wendy...It's very confusing I think we should ask the dog then we'll get the straight dope.
Absolutely brilliant! I want one.Provided she is Wendy...
Any example circuit or recommendation on readily available onesFor that you may have to set up a small light curtain!

There are lots of ready assembled light curtains on the internet. It would be difficult to design and build one reliable enough for what you need. It's up to you to decide what would best fit your application and budget.Any example circuit or recommendation on readily available ones
