I'm working on small project using electromagnetic repulsion in which I know only two factors which is explained bellow,
One electromagnet is stationary and the other is floating, the floating magnet is mounted with the load of say 60 N, the magnets should be repelled at a constant distance of 50 mm.....
For this how am I suppose to design the electromagnets or how to identify the dimensions like,
1. Area of cross section of core
2. Wire diameter of coil
3. number of turns
