Design resource for circular folded dipole antennas?

I'm looking for a design resource for circular folded dipole antennas such as the Stellar Labs omnidirectional FM antenna. It's a half-wave folded dipole antenna with the two halves bent to form a circular shape. I understand how a half-wave dipole or folded dipole works. But I need help understanding how forming the antenna into a circular shape affects the working of the antenna and its reception pattern. There are plenty of design resources online for standard folded dipole antennas. But I can't find any for the circular folded dipole.

Can someone please point me to an appropriate design resource? Thanks.

The circular folded dipole is similar in shape to the classic halo antenna used in ham radio. But it differs in that it's a folded dipole formed into a circular shape rather than a standard dipole formed into a circle. I'd appreciate any pointers to design resources for a circular folded dipole antenna.
