DC Motors have Brushes also used in DC Motor?

Brushes are contact devices used to transfer power to and from a rotating object or electrical device.
There are also AC induction motors (wound rotor motor) that have brushes, the induced level in the rotor is controlled via a Slip ring (brushes) circuit.
Also a AC/DC synchronous motor.
3ph alternator. (Don't forget the generators!)
