i'm trying to simulate a dc motor control circuit with ne555 timer but i really don't know what i'm doing i tried two different circuit but none of them worked. i used falstad.com for circuit simulation. i want to observe motor spining(?). any help would be appreciated.IMG_6528.pngIMG_6527.jpeg

I see nothing wrong with the circuit either. What motor are you using? Have you actually built this circuit, or just tried it in a simulator? Is the circuit simulator supposed to show motor rotation?

I would recommend the first Circuit.

What is the PWM-Frequency calculated to be ?
A "real" Circuit-Simulator should be used.

What are the advantages, and disadvantages, of a Higher, or Lower, PWM-Frequency ?

The PWM-Frequency may be too high,
what would make it "too" high ?,
how would the problem manifest itself ?

What is the Gate-Capacitance of the MOSFET ?

How fast can the FET be "Switched-Hard" with a ~60mA Drive-Current ?

What are the various purposes of the 200-Ohm Gate-Resistor ?

What would happen if the 200-Ohm-Resistor was replaced with a 150-Ohm-Resistor ?

What is the Maximum-Current available at the 555 Output ?

Side-Note ...........
Any MOSFET in this type of configuration
should have a Resistor from the Gate to the Source to
eliminate the chances of having a "Floating-Gate".
A ~10K-Resistor should suffice, it's not too critical.
A FET-Gate acts just like a small-value-Capacitor with a very low Voltage-rating,
a FET-Gate can easily be destroyed by exceeding it's Voltage-rating..
