Hi,

I am using a Brushed DC motor for one of my project and in order to use break condition I put the two MOSFET on the Full bridge HIGH.

it is similar to connecting the positive and negative wire of the motor .

When I do this , I find hard to turn the shaft. Can I please know internally what's happening in the motor?

Vikas I get the idea from your name, English may be a second language?
It is Brake, assuming you don't want to destroy (break) it.;)
As mentioned, when the motor turns it produces a BEMF roughly equal to the voltage required to operate at a given DC, e.g. a motor rated for 100vdc and 2Krpm will generate approximately 100vdc at 2Krpm if back fed/rotated.
Max.
