How can I change the direction of a DC brush motor with a centrifugal switch or dynamic break

I have to make a diagram of a system which contains a limit switch,a brush motor 24V-250W,an on-off switch and something what changes the direction of the rotation(like a reverse gear) after 5 sec of work, or if the motor is overloaded.
I could manage how to change AC to DC and the buttons I need to use, but I do not know how to solve the rotation switch and that part of the circuit diagram.
Can anyone give me some advice pls?
thanks in advance ,sorry for my english

You say it is a brushed motor. Is is a series, shunt or compound wound motor. The easiest to reverse would be a shunt wound as long as the field winding leads are accessible. The other types would require bringing leads of the series/shunt/brush leads out for connection to the reversing circuit (probably relays).

Sounds like you need a dual duty type of sensing, reverse after a certain time out, and/or if the motor passes excessive current >10.5A?
Although a overload of up to 5sec, would probably do no harm, meaning a overload detection may not be needed for a 5 sec period.
A little more on the application would help.
What is a centrifugal switch going to tell you?
Dynamic BRAKE!

I am making a trash compressor and using a scissor jack system . The idea was to use the motor as a power source connected to a spindle that would have a nut placed on it to get linear motion . So it’s pushing the trash down for 5sec and after it needs to up to the original position . I am not an expert in the electrical part that’s why I was asking about it. Basically I need a system which could reverse the motion of DC motor.

If it is a 24v 250w motor I would be very surprised if it a Universal type.
@krumplicukor I would imagine that if this a trash compactor you are going to need a high degree of gear reduction, have you measured or estimated the required torque in order to activate the scissor jack process?

The torque is 4.35 Nm and the gear ratio is 6
