Hi,
I've a design done on Metal Core PCB for a power adaptor (DC - DC conversion). The Buck converter used is a VQFN020V4040 package. I'm facing serious reliability issues and does not deliver the designed power (100W in my case). The Chip manufacturer attributes this to improper soldering.
Does anyone have any experience in using MC PCB for fine pitch components like VQFN020V4040 package??
Appreciate an early response.
Thanks in advance.
