Dear engineers and physicists,
First I'm a physicist and my lab equipped with a CAEN VME crate and many modules (digitizer, power supply, scalers, ADC, TDC ....etc).
It is being controlled- as I think- with CES RIO4-8072de in the first slot as shown in photos.
My experience is so little with VME and I worked before only with NIM crate using USB connection to my computer.
Now my question is how to connect this VME crate with my computer and acquire data, should I use PCIe and what kind of PCIe and what kind of cable I have to use with RIO4-8072de?

Yes there three Ethernet connectors and two other connectors on the interface card as the pics.

 

Why not just contact the vendor? Even if you knew where to plug in the cable you still need to know how to talk to the thing...

I would also expect you would also need some software, or at least a module for something like MATLAB.
