Custom Keyer Project: Needs helps, preferably someone with circuit design experience/knowledge

Yeah, I've been curious about electronics for many, many years but always thought it seemed too hard to learn enough to get into the interesting projects (the easy to achieve stuff wasn't very tantalizing.)

Adafruit changed that for me, making it easy to do some fairly complex projects with no background. From there I dug more into theory and understanding individual components. I'm still a total noob, but to the extent that I understand any of this stuff, I owe it first to Adafruit, and second to this site. So, I too will gladly overpay sometimes just to support them, particularly on those particular items which are so much easier to learn because of the great Adafruit documentation.
