I encountered a challenge. I need to measure current on 100 lines.
The current is up to 2A on each line and it can be in both directions.
Resolution should be 10mA.
I have to hand over the measurement to the STM microcontroller.
Do you have any suggestions on how to make it simple and effective?

What is the line voltage?

Can you put a small resistor in series with each line?

 

I have several voltages that can be on each line,
between 0-15V, and a negative voltage of 12V.
At any given moment I can know what the voltage is on the line.
And yes, I can place resistors.

 

Do the lines have a common ground or does the measurement need to be isolated?

 

Do you need to know all line currents simultaneously, or one at a time? If the latter, how often would each measurement have to be taken?

Hall effect current sensors would work well. No need to insert a resistor in each line and no need for common grounds.
