I cant understand the concept of current chopping in inductive circuits.
It is said that a sequence of chops will occur before natural current zero.
But after the first restriking is suppressed ,how is the voltage for the second restriking produced across the contacts of the circuit breaker, after the first one is chopped.

 

I cant understand what you really mean. Post a diagram if possible and explain it a bit better
