Hello:

I have a couple of questions about the voltages from an open circuit on a CT.
1. if a CT is open circuited on the secondary one foot from the CT, will the voltage that is present exist back to the CT, at the exact point of the open circuit or anywhere along the secondary cable i.e. to the relay as well
2. if a CT is open circuited on the secondary X feet from the CT, will the voltage that is present exist back to the CT, at the exact point of the open circuit or anywhere along the secondary cable i.e. to the relay as well

The same voltage will exist anywhere along the secondary cable between the open circuit points. IOW each conductor.
