Correct. The + or - sign indicates if the current leads or lags the voltage.

That's not really a 'correction' it's just a different way of writing it.

is the same as:
-j

That's all really. We can write it both ways depending on application usually. Of course it often helps to clear the denominator so we can write the whole thing in the form Real+j*Imag.
(1/j)*(-j/-j) = -j/(j*-j) = -j/1 =-j
