And once again, the state is explicitly telling the kids that they are no ok already because they are disadvantaged by this or that or the other. This is repeatedly drilled into their heads.
It sounds like you are helping the state drill the message. Keep up the good fight.

Gov. David Ige reinstates restrictions in response to surge in COVID-19 cases
The highly contagious delta variant has fueled a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases throughout the islands, causing government and health care officials to scramble to implement surge capacity at hospitals, bring in extra nurses, boost the number of contact tracers and increase the state’s ability to test for the virus.

Just weeks ago the state was moving toward a full reopening as the pandemic seemed to have been under control amid low case counts and a growing vaccination rate. But Hawaii is now averaging more than 500 cases a day, double what it was in August 2020 at the then height of the pandemic. Hospitals are already grappling with an influx of patients, and executives worry that the need for treatment could outstrip available beds and staffing levels.

Wow! This is a case study of how fast Delta can spread even within a fairly strict and isolated environment in the unvaccinated.

75 percent of the eligible people in my area are fully vaccinated and we are doing fine.
96 percent of the people going to the hospital with the Covid-19 virus are non-vaccinated.

The people with the virus are kids who cannot be vaccinated yet and people 20 years old to 40 years old who have "rights". They do not go to the hospital chat to the nurses, they go there because the virus is killing them and they need a ventilator and oxygen to breath.

We recently opened lockdown and airports but the case numbers are rising then lockdown is coming back until everybody is vaccinated.

Actually the fatality rate for those who test positive for COVID is about 1.75%. Not everyone who test positive is hospitalized and dies.

So that means what? When I visit the hospital I enjoy chatting with the nurses and even the just about all of the staff. They seem to welcome friendly chat. You seem to promote the thought that anyone and everyone who is not vaccinated faces a death penalty from COVID. The facts point otherwise and by the way the fatality rate I pointed out as of 6/13/21 was 1.83% so is trending down. The numbers come from The Mayo Clinic. Just wondering where your numbers come from and how they are presented. I can say with some certainty that 100% of those who tested positive for COVID tested positive for COVID.

The brother of a good friend of mine passed away this morning due to complications from CV19 ... he was 60 years old. Unfortunately, he also was one of those sad disinformed souls that thought that taking supplements and chlorine dioxide was enough to fend off the virus, and hence he didn't bother to get vaccinated ... a sad, sad case indeed.

It is my guess that the 1.83% fatality figure is grossly over-estimated because of the many infections that are not detected.

To my thinking the mayor of Baltimore, Maryland has it right -
“For anyone who is frustrated about wearing a mask—and you’re unvaccinated—then look in the mirror. It’s your fault that we’re going back to having an indoor mask mandate,” Mayor Scott told WJZ. “If you’re not vaccinated, shut up. Don’t complain.“ From https://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2021/08/06/covid-19-in-baltimore-mask-mandate-vaccination-hesitancy/
Well it seems he has a good point.

The country that has many people avoiding vaccinations has the highest per capita number of cases of Covid-19 and deaths from it in the entire world. Sure they are gambling with their life and whether they will be maimed by the virus for the rest of their life if they survive. It makes no sense that people avoid the life-saving vaccination.

Yes and that is perfectly logical. Keep something else in mind. Not all countries enjoy the same access to vaccine that we enjoy in the US or Canada. Pretty hard to get vaccinated when there is no vaccine isn't it? Everybody in the world can't live in the center of the universe. Additionally even advanced countries like Australia are having a bad time because of a lack of vaccine. People are not necessarily "avoiding" vaccine when there is no vaccine to be had for the masses.
