Under a thousand dead (which is still a lot) and mostly in China. The number infected stands at just under 40k.Last I read globally 35,000 people are dead as a result of it.
The "official" number is over a thousand now, but these are gamed figures, are they not?Under a thousand dead (which is still a lot) and mostly in China. The number infected stands at just under 40k.

You can count on an authoritarian regime to provide false information, assuming they give any at all.The "official" number is over a thousand now, but these are gamed figures, are they not?
Does this indicate that novel-coronavirus as just another flu outbreak? Sheesh. You can count on an authoritarian regime to provide false information, assuming they give any at all.
It appears that two affected cities are burning corpses and the number would have to be in the thousands to account for the rise in sulfur being detected.
With a death rate above 2%, coronavirus is nothing to take lightly. On the other hand, there's no point in being afraid to live your life.Does this indicate that novel-coronavirus as just another flu outbreak?
Changing thousands years old culture of hundreds millions of people? This looks like my street during mosquito abatement. No way of telling whether this is specific to the Novel Corona Virus.
It might be that these diseases "jump" from animals to humans is that in China and Hong Kong (never noticed this happening in Taiwan) is because humans and animals live in close proximity and there are many chances for them to influence each other biologically. One thing the Chinese government could do is to require changes in the way animals are kept, transported, and slaughtered; that might reduce the frequency of this effect, which seems to happen every six to nine years.
Would hydrogen peroxide also be a possibility?A solution of NaOCl (bleach) would not be my first guess for the pictures we see of widespread misting outdoors. Of course, indoors on a small area, bleach is quite effective.
Coronavirus is enveloped and some common "quat" (quaternary ammonium) disinfectants have been shown to be active against similar viruses. Of course, concentration, contact time, and matrix (i.e., Is the virus on an otherwise clean surface or mixed with something like blood o feces) affect disinfectant activity.
I share your doubts about the effectiveness of misting large areas, but I have not seen any descriptions of the details.
Wouldn't everyone become blonde?Would hydrogen peroxide also be a possibility?
I lived in the Bay Area when they were spraying malathion to kill an infestation of fruit flies. They sprayed at night to minimize exposure for people.Wouldn't everyone become blonde?
I thought it was another trariff. Some talk starting about this idea...
