The good ole boys from Chatanooga that went around and bought out all the hand sanitizer from all the stores within a 100+ mile radius and tried to sell it for 10X plus on Amazon and got booted are now in deep doo-doo with the TN attorney general. Plus they have 17,000+ bottles of sanitizer they can't sell since they were ordered to cease and desist or be arrested.
Read about that. There are laws in about every state about doing that. Yet, some people don't get it.

Right now we count 41 infected, 2 dead (within the last 10 days) plus 3 recently discharged from the hospital. Dead people suffered other patologies prior being infected (Italy).

Until 5 days ago, all infected were passengers coming from China, Italy (the most), France and USA.

The idiot in charge of our Ministry of Health told the press, less than a week ago, that he did not expect the virus to arrive here "so soon". Go figure.

Boeing Field, two Eastside properties to be used for housing homeless people during coronavirus pandemic

Shades of Katrina! Who thought this one up? Just look at what happened to the Super Dome after Katrina. This is going to be ugly...

From the email my doctor sent me this seems to be the protocol. Doctor sends you to the County Medical Center for testing. I would very much rather have it done drive thru (like they do for flu shots) than to step into that nasty place (at least the one here is). They may not actually have the test kits yet is the clincher.

I went to costco today and was able to get a pack of toilet paper. Seems my children have been successfully getting needed food and goods. On the short term I’m now at home, still working a good thing. At the end of the day, my daughter a Nurse say’s did this happen in 2000? Was it worse then or is this worse? Um, I really don’t remember.

There is a good chance the nose swabbing ( I keep wanting to type "swapping") will be done outside any medical center. Kind of like drive-up. You don't want to go inside and they don't want you to go inside. Good luck!

Ohio has even fewer cases. It doesn't make sense. Are CDC guidelines being ignored?
Beats me but something about too many chiefs and not enough Indians comes to mind. It's like with the schools. Literally hundreds of districts were each going to the beat of their own drum. Finally it took the governor to make a decision at the state level. All schools will close for three weeks and we will see from there.

Speaking of Ohio...

I'm gonna be real bummed if Dayton is canceled!:( --While I'd like to believe that the intervening sixty days will provide sufficient opportunity for folks to beg, buy, borrow or steal some perspective - I'm not without my doubts...

This is really beginning to annoy me. As of 9 PM this evening here in Ohio restaurants will be shut down. Carry out is OK. They already managed to shut down everything else. What's next? Maybe impose martial law and call out the guard to make sure I don't exit my house? The governor is getting a little carried away.

Ron
Sorry you feel that way. But this is necessary because of people like you. And if you ignore it, perhaps martial law is what will take to protect the citizenry from you. Our American culture never promised anyone that they can do whatever they want. Freedom comes with responsibility. And if someone is incapable of acting reasonably, the proper response is martial law and putting any irresponsible citizens butts in jail. Until the rest of us feel like letting them out. Anyone who puts me and my families lives at risk, deserved to be isolated from society. Until I feel like letting them out.

My brother lives in Colorado and was unsuccessful at getting a test at the drive through. After a week, his fever has broken and looks like a recovery. May not be Wuhan but it was a serious flu bordering on pneumonia.

I don’t believe you. Trump has promised that anyone can get tested for free.

Yeah. I was looking forward to the bacon.
Lol! Hamfest? -- More like (so-called) 'Canadian bacon';)

Congratulations upon your maintenance of a sense of humour in a world of 'media puppets'! -- I can but hope all the 'wolf crying' we're now witnessing doesn't blunt response to a real crisis (at some future juncture)...

Best regards
