But I do take D3 supplements, and advocate that when weather allows a person gets a couple hours of healthy sunlight each day on plenty of skin surface area, as it makes sense the body manufactures the best kind of vitamin D for our uses. Obviously avoid intense sun light that leads to sunburn.Oh great, just great. Over 70 and a vitamin D deficiency every winter. I am as good as dead. DR. appointment today, I will ask for more vitamin D pills.
