Ok I have a cordless 12v Dremel Model 8220, Anyway my charger was making a very high pitch ringing noise for a while the one day all if the sudden she decided that she was done charging, To my Question What would it take to use another 12v charger non dremel?, obviously the pins for the pin outs but is there or I should say does anyone have a schematic or video tutorial showing how-to and also has anyone else done the same thing. I know some are going to say just buy a new charger, well I'm the type were if I can reuse something that was previously not useful anymore cause another thing bit the dust, well if I can make use of that one thing again without spending money on a new one byegolly I'm going to just do that, dremel chargers are not cheap by the way. Sorry for my rambling but thank you for your time and your replies will be very much appreciated..

It's a Lithium ion battery, so it will need a deadicated charger chip, look for a pcb like this....

You can still use the transformer from your old one if it's still working, otherwise you'll need a 14V dc supply.

If you want to make your own charger pcb use a deadicated chip from LT like one of these...
