I totally new to electronics so please be forgiving for me for my lack of knowladge.

I trying to build Labview application for my hydraulic testing. My problem is to read the signal from Flow Gear Meter due to high output voltage.
My NI hardware (counter) only to read TTL signal (up to 5V).

How difficult would be convert high voltage 24V signal to level I would be able to read on NI unit.

I attached flow meter specification. Model V2.

 

You can use a resistor divider network using two resistors like 19K and 5K, or any combination to give the same voltage reduction of 4.8

 

If I use resistor divider for both channels. Is that not going to interference channels offset.

The resistors just reduce the voltage, they will not introduce any offset in the pulse positions.
