Hello All,
I need to produce high voltage (20kV-50kV) pulses in the frequency range of 100Hz-1MHz for a gas plasma processing test.
I have access to regular laboratory grade function generator. I came across the Tesla Coil speaker which seems to me that produces pulsed arcs as per the audio signal. I assume the audio signal is wave signal and thought maybe a function generator signal could be fed to the same port and high voltage arc with frequency assigned by function generator could be produced.
Is this feasible? or Tesla coil circuit is tailored around audible frequency range only?
If not is there any cost effective option for this?
Thanks very much for the input.
