Component purposes?

I'm having a bit of trouble making sense of what each component does within this circuit. Any help would be appreciated.
C1 couples the audio signal and strips out any DC component. C4 and C5 are bypass capacitors to reduce noise on the power supply. R1 biases the opamp input at ground. R2 and R3 set the feedback gain along with C2, which lets the output voltage float away from ground. R4 and C3 filter high frequency out of the output to the speaker.

It corrects the speaker impedance.
Interesting. Always good to learn something new. I saw RC and thought filter, but it's more than that.

The wiki mentions better "amplifier performance" but I'm wondering what that means in terms of sound. Less distortion?
